Dear Butts Farm,

I just wanted to say how delighted I am with everything from my order just before Christmas. Am slowly working my way through the freezerload of goodies and its all delicious! Mum was highly pleased with the Bath chaps and I was gracious enough to share some of the bacon and faggits with her, which she also enjoyed!

I must say that even though all your meat is beautiful, it was one of the humbler products that I was most impressed with - the faggots are absolutely delicious! I would recommend them to anyone who's a bit nervous of trying offal based food, and they are a different foodstuff altogether than the commercial variety. I gave them a quick blast in a hot oven then cooked them slowly for about 40 mins. The caul fat gave a lovely firm stickyshiny conker brown outside and the inside was tender and tasty. PROPER food! I imagine that as well as gravy, a good homemade applesauce (with thyme maybe?) would go well with them.

Dear Sir,

I just wanted to let you know that Mummy and Auntie Pip and Lisa and "dirty" Dermot and Louis and I all had such a lovely time at your farm this morning. I was very excited that I milked the goat and the bunnies were so lovely and soft. Mummy was a bit freaked out when the sheep had the baby today but I thought it was really sweet.

We would have stayed longer and seen the chickens but Dermot fell into a really big puddle and so we had to go. I will be coming back very soon though, with my girlfriend Immi.

My family and I visited your farm on Easter Sunday, and would I would like to thank you for the lovely time my two small nieces had. The farm was wonderful to spend time at, and the children were delighted to be able to see, feed and groom the animals.

The animals were a credit to you and your work and I will not hesitate recommending the farm to friends and their children.

We just wanted to thank you for such an enjoyable visit to your Farm during our recent holiday last week.

We enjoyed the farm so much, we visited it twice during our week's holiday!

We live 15 minutes away from a local farm and I must admit that I thought that the children might not be as interested in 'yet another farm' while we were away. How wrong I was! Your farm was so different - a working farm, no feeding of bored, overstuffed animals here! It was an absolute joy to visit and a privilege to see such a farm in action. We were lucky enough to come on a day when pony rides were offered and our 2 girls really enjoyed their first ride on your ponies. The ladies who were organising the pony rides were wonderful - really patient and great with the kids and made it an interesting and informative afternoon.

We were so impressed with the farm that we wanted to say thank you and to say what a great time we had. We have relatives who live in Cheltenham who hadn't heard of you and we took a leaflet to give to them to recommend you as I'm sure they'll be as impressed as ourselves.

Best wishes for the future and we will certainly see you again if we visit the Cotswolds in the future.
